Yo Yo, What’s going On Good People?
This week is definitely way better than last week for sure. I had time to actually get my life together and reset. I’m proud that I didn’t drop any habits during the previous week. I had a lot of priorities to knock out at the day job, so I wasn’t able to do any housekeeping until this weekend (today). Still haven’t completed everything I needed to do, but I definitely feel like a got a lot of the surface level chores done (The chores that needs to be done to have people come over and not judge me).

This and That by Curren$y. It’s been a minute since I listened to Curren$y and it’s been far too long for sure. Side Note - When I was an adolescent, I use to have a list of favorite who I thought could be the best and Curren$y was on that list. First hearing him on Tha Carter 2 put me on notice. So when this song popped up on my Spotify, I had to listen to it. After listening to this on repeat, I ended up writing to the track on of my daily verses. I really enjoyed the flow that Curren$y is delivering. He’s allowing the beat to breathe and adding ad libs to make sure the song feels full. The strings along with the bass and snare makes the song complete. Worth the listen for sure.

Goal Tracker
There are some things in this that will take some time to show progress (features, sparring, songs) but I couldn’t let another 0 go for running. Even though I’ve been boxing at Sweet Science, I wanted to depend on an additional focus on cardio to prepare me for Sparring. Although I ran for almost a mile and some change, I’m glad I did it for I won’t have to be a 0 again for 250 mile goal.

I’m still looking for a clean way to provide the Work Flow Wednesday MP3s to everyone for free. I believe the best way is to have them available in the store. If I come up with a better way, y’all will be the first to know for sure.
Panda sent me some new beats yesterday and I’m not gonna lie to you. It's unfair. Like genuinely unfair. He’s on a whole new level right now and I’m not gonna lie, I’m excited to see what comes. We both have been grinding together in the dark for a while now. Not only that, but we both have been focused on growing as a person as well. We had some great conversations this weekend and I can only speak for me. But I feel VERY good on how this year is gonna be for us.
I want to take the time to say if you’re reading this, please make sure to take time to take care of yourself. I know the world can get rough sometimes and pressure, anxiety, & stress seems to last forever. I just want to remind you that you got this. There haven’t been a day you haven’t got passed yet. I believe in you and I know you’re going to overcome anything and everything. But please drink water, exercise, rest, laugh, and spend more time around people who give you life. Those things really makes a different in everyday life.
