Yo Yo, What’s going On Good People?

By far my favorite week in December. It’s been busy, but a lot of great things has happened. I got all my Christmas shopping done (Thank God). Just been spending time with family and friends that I haven’t seen all year. I hit on the TS1s Low Phantoms! Everything has been going right this week.

Song on Repeat This Week

DO 4 LOVE by Snoh Aalegra - I love when artists create their own versions of songs. So when I found out about Snoh covering the Bobby Caldwell’s classic “What You Won’t Do For Love”, I got genuinely excited. I love the production of the song. Minimal instruments, deep piano pitches, and a slower tempo than the original classic. Adding Snoh vocals to these makes the track hypnotizing. I love it. I get lost listening to this song.

What’s New

I got one last show before the end of the year! It’s gonna be at The Projects ATL this Thursday (12/22). It’ll be free to pop up with this RSVP. I’ll be performing a couple of songs for Tipsy Thursday. Probably be performing some UNRELEASED Music as well. It’s gonna be a night to remember for 2022!

Me and my boy Kyle linked up with Grip and Stray Society Music to give back to the community. They hosted a Toy Drive as well as a holiday party to collect gifts for the Children Healthcare of Atlanta. Stray Society is a stand up group over there. Looking forward to linking up with them again.

I plan to go to the studio before the end of the year. I do enjoy recording at home, but sometimes it’s good to have a different environment. Plus I always enjoy my time recording with my friend Rosa. She’s hands down amazing.

As year comes to a close, I’m reflecting on the list of experiences and accomplishments I did in 2022. I list those in details for the next post. I challenge everyone to do the same thing for we all can celebrate our accomplishments.
